Aaron publishes paper on singlet fission on JPCL [2022/01]

Aaron Altman, together with Sivan Refaely-Abramson, published the first paper of the Jornada group on the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters! Singlet fission is a process that allows a photon to generate more than one excited electron, and has the potential to significantly increase the efficiency of solar-cell devices beyond the traditional efficiency of ~23%. Our work identities general and non-obvious rules associated with this process, and explains why two similar materials can have quite different singlet-fission rates.
